All design concepts include an initial review with 2 minor changes. 5. After this review changes are made and final files are provided on CD in the required formats. 6. Fast Quote Double K Kreations is proud to provide you with a fast quote if you already know your product information and design/printing requirements. All we need is a visual reference of your graphic and details on the quantity and products that will be printed. A fast quote will be given over the phone or in email the same day on standard products and processes. Fast Quote Now! Sending files File formats accepted: CorelDraw All versions. Adobe Illustrator All versions. All files should be saved with the .eps extension. If using Illustrator 8 or higher save the file as a version 8 .eps file. Bitmaps (photos/web graphics) For screen printing these files will be often be used only as guides from which the artwork will be recreated. Photoshop & Corel Photo Paint All versions. For screen printing these files will often be used only as guides from which the artwork will be recreated. Gray level and full color bitmaps can usually be used as provided for Digital Printing. Microsoft Word These files may contain usable art or they will be used as a guide for recreating the art. Any artwork that is provided requiring manipulation will incur an art charge. Preparing Files for submission We prefer CorelDraw vector art files for screen printed artwork but accept other file formats.
It is a good idea to send us your file at the size you want it printed but it is not required. 2. Convert text to curves: For vector files, please convert all text to curves before sending the file. For Photoshop files, please rasterize/render all type layers before sending the file. To convert text to curves using CorelDraw Select all your text and convert it to curves by selecting "Arrange/Convert to Curves". The keyboard shortcut is "Ctrl+Q". You may need to ungroup your design to perform this function, depending on which version of the program you are using. Note: Script typestyles will need to be welded instead of simply converting to curves. The best way to do this using version 12 or later is to break the text apart (Crtl-K) several times until each letter is separated, then convert all separated letters to outlines (Ctrl-Q) then you can weld all the letters together. To convert text to curves using Adobe Illustrator®: Select all your text and convert it to curves by selecting "Type/Create Outlines". The keyboard shortcut is "Ctrl+Shift+O". You may need to ungroup your design to perform this function.
4. Sending artwork: Artwork can be sent through our website or on disk. Rush Orders Double K Kreations is able to meet most reasonable production deadlines in a prompt manner. If you have an extreme deadline that is less than a week from art approval, contact us ASAP with complete information and a clear version of your artwork and we will work with you to expedite your production. Some charges for Rush orders may apply. It is critical to provide us with a clear method of art approval to not delay your order. Double K Kreations reserves the right to decline an order if production quality cannot be maintained due to deadlines or lack of approval in agreed timelines. Contact us now for Rush Ordering. |
